Dr Katherine Wynn is part of the CSIRO Futures team – advising clients on the emerging trends and technologies shaping industries while designing responsive strategies for more informed investment decisions. For our event, Katherine plans to present on trends relevant to the theme of the conference around irrigation’s role in delivering economically viable food security and sustainable urban spaces in an increasingly unpredictable climate. This will include a range of trends - climate change and the transition to net zero emissions, the growing global population and what that means for Australian agriculture, food and water security, skills and workforce trends, consumer patterns, and investment and innovation trends, among others.
Brian Walker, the Retail Doctor, is a motivational speaker who understands what makes retailers and brands successful. He passes this knowledge on in a series of energetic, engaging and informative retail keynote presentations at conferences and events around the world. Brian will present on the future of retail in an irrigation industry context.
