Overview

Hosted by One Basin CRC, this workshop explores barriers to digital technology adoption in irrigation, including trust, literacy, and interoperability. It features panel discussions, group work, and insights on integrated systems.

Details

This workshop, hosted by the One Basin CRC, will explore opportunities across the value chain for addressing known barriers to technology adoption, including need for trust and confidence in technologies, digital literacy and interoperability. Participation from all conference delegates is welcome, but it’s a great opportunity for exhibitors with an interest in digital technology to engage with the CRC’s researchers.

It will address issues such as increasing digital literacy and supporting extension and advisory services to promote digital technologies. The benefits of integrated technologies will be discussed including dedicated irrigation systems versus whole farm systems, proprietary versus open technologies and closed versus open data trade-offs.
