Overview

Discover how irrigation networks aid endangered species and habitats, while sustaining food production, with techniques enhancing the Australasian bittern's survival.

Details

In this session, four irrigation network companies explain how they are using their network to support endangered native species and improve habitat, at the same time as sustaining food and fibre production. A scientist explains how these outcomes are being enhanced through rice production techniques that support successful feeding and breeding of the endangered Australasian bittern and other native species.
